About
Filippo Cinti is a distinguished veterinary surgeon specializing in soft tissue and minimally invasive surgery. He currently serves as the head of the Soft Tissue and Mini-invasive Surgery department at San Marco Veterinary Clinic and Laboratory, while also collaborating as a specialist surgeon at Vet Hospital h24 Firenze. His expertise is recognized internationally, and he is a co-author of the comprehensive resource, Manual of Small Animal Surgical Emergencies. Dr. Cinti graduated from the University of Bologna in 2009 and completed his PhD in Veterinary Science (Surgery) at the same institution in 2014. He underwent rigorous training, including a three-year European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) approved residency program at Centro Veterinario Luni Mare and Clinica Veterinaria Vezzoni. Following his residency, he gained significant international experience, including three years at the Eastcott Referral Veterinary Hospital in the UK. He achieved his European Diploma in Small Animal Surgery in 2020 and holds the Italian qualification of Assistant Professor in Small Animal Surgery (ASN).
