About
Dr. Haroldo Toro is a distinguished expert in avian pathology and virology, recognized for his extensive contributions to the understanding of viral diseases in commercial poultry. He earned his DVM from the University of Chile in 1983 and his PhD from the Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen, Germany, in 1987. In 2002, he joined the faculty at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he served as a professor in the Department of Pathobiology until his transition to emeritus status.
