Dr. Marta Amat Grau is a distinguished veterinarian and researcher specializing in animal behaviour and welfare. She earned her veterinary degree and PhD from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), where she has dedicated her career to advancing the field of clinical ethology. As a Diplomate of the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM-CA), she is recognized as a European Veterinary Specialist in Behavioural Medicine. Her work focuses on the intersection of animal health, behaviour, and welfare, with a particular emphasis on canine and feline aggression and the behavioural manifestations of pain in companion animals.
