About
Dr. William J. Nudera is a board-certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He earned his DDS from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry in 1999. Following his graduation, he served for three years in the United States Air Force Dental Corps, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. During his military service, he was named the Air Force Material Command’s Company Grade Dental Officer of the Year in 2001 and received the National Defense Service Medal for his contributions during Operation Enduring Freedom. After his service, he returned to UIC to complete his advanced specialty training in Endodontics and earned a Master of Science in Oral Sciences in 2005. Dr. Nudera is a dedicated educator and author, known for his work 'NuEndo: ReThinking Endodontics,' which provides a systematic approach to endodontic diagnosis and case selection. He maintains a private practice, Specialized Endodontic Solutions, in the Chicagoland area and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a recognized Key Opinion Leader and advocate for Dentsply Sirona (formerly Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties), lecturing internationally on endodontic protocols.
